Practicing devotion to Bombasta is a two-pronged affair:
Gratitude.
One can practice with a daily journal, in which one reflects on all the gifts from Bombasta at either the beginning or end of each day.
At peak moments, one is encouraged to deeply acknowledge one’s gifts with a profound sense of humility and wonder.
In trying times, one is encouraged to look deeper into the present situation with an open heart to perceive the underlying gifts.
Daily cardiovascular exercise.
Votaries are encouraged to celebrate Bombasta’s presence within by caring for the body through vigorous cardiovascular exercise: no less than 12 minutes at 80% of one’s max heart rate.
Possible forms of exercise include:
It should be noted that more than 12 minutes is somewhat extraneous, as long one’s heart rate reaches the requisite 80% mark.
- Running, jogging, or speedwalking
- Jump rope
- Climbing stairs
- Cross-country skiing
- Ice-climbing
